2019 A Taste Sensation Culinary Cook-Off
A huge thank you to all who attended, our celerity chef teams, and all the local businesses and people that sponsored this event.
On October 4, 2019, 270 community members showed their support and a culinary cook-off to benefit the Merlin and Carolyn Hanson Hospice Center. Along with those in attendance, were 20 volunteers who helped to raise $204,000 (net dollars) which equates to 669 days of room and board fees that are not covered by medicare or other private insurance.
The money raised is used in a benevolent care fund which gives patients and families that cannot afford 24/7 hospice care the opportunity to receive care at the Hanson Hospice Center.
