Providing Support When You Need It

Caring Circle provides support groups for caregivers and those looking for grief healing and bereavement care. These classes connect you with others who understand what you’re going through. All support groups are provided free of charge and are providing by Caring Circle services. 

If the group you are interested in is cancelled below please contact Caring Circle at (269) 429-7100 to schedule a visit by phone or in person with one of our Bereavement Care Coordinators. Stay tuned for updates.

Caregiving Support 

Caring For Your Loved One
This support group provides individuals who are caring for a loved one the opportunity to talk with others who are experiencing the same joys and challenges that caregivers face. 

Every third Tuesday of the month

Bereavement/Grief Healing Groups 

Shadow Steppers-CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
All who are traveling through their grief journey are invited to take part in the healing process facilitated by a Caring Circle bereavement coordinator. These classes meet for once a month for a hour and thirty minutes.

Good Grief
“Good Grief” covers topics such as why you feel the way you do; how to cope with loss, guilt and regret; and finding a sense of peace. Each seven-week session meets for one hour and thirty minutes and provides meaningful information and time for sharing.

“Reel” Grief-CANCELLED, stay tuned for rescheduled dates
A four-week bereavement support group utilizing depictions of grief featured in familiar movies and television shows. The group will meet at Caring Circle office building in St. Joseph and will cover a different aspect of grieving each week. Participants are encouraged to view these thought provoking moments from grief-themed films/TV together with the opportunity to share their own grief experiences and struggles.

Celebration of Life Services-CANCELLED, stay tuned for rescheduled date
Our services honor patients and families served by the organization, as well as community members who have died in the previous year. This non-denominational program is open to the public. There will be a reception following the service with a time of fellowship.
