The COVID-19 vaccine is available at no out-of-pocket cost. Insurance is not required to register for an appointment. If you have insurance, please include that information when scheduling.

Your second Moderna dose will be scheduled 28 days later.
A second dose of the Moderna vaccine is necessary to further boost the immune response and ensure long-term protection from COVID-19. We are committed to providing a second dose to everyone who receives a first dose. Moderna booster
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend COVID-19 boosters shots for all people age 18 years and older for the Moderna vaccine at least 5 months after completing your primary COVID-19 vaccination series. Some people can receive two boosters.

Adults 18 years and older

Adults 50 years and older
When to get your booster:
At least 5 months after completing your primary COVID-19 vaccination series. If eligible for a second booster, at least 4 months after your first booster
Which booster should you get?
For the first booster, an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) is preferred in most situations. The second booster must be an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine.

Moderna third dose for immunocompromised
The CDC recommends that people with moderately to severely compromised immune systems receive an additional dose of mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at least 28 days after a second dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
