IRONMAN 70.3 Steelhead

EM residents work alongside Ironman 70.3 Steelhead Triathlon medical director, Dr. Chris Trigger, providing care in the medical tent and aid to triathletes throughout the day. Residents cover all aspects of the race starting with the swim in Lake Michigan. They then move to transition, bike course and the finish line for further medical assistance if needed. Once in the medical tent, residents take care of triathletes for medical emergencies post-race. Sports Medicine Track residents serve as the Assistant Medical Director of this event.
