Lory’s Place to Host Free Cookies, Cocoa and Conversation Event

(ST. JOSEPH) - On Wednesday, February 22, Lory’s Place, a program of Caring Circle at Corewell Health South, invites community members to its Cookies, Cocoa and Conversation event from 2 to 4 p.m. at 445 Upton Drive in St. Joseph.

Participants will learn about resources and appropriate words to comfort a person grieving the death of a loved one. 

An RSVP is required by February 17 for anyone planning to attend this free event. Cookies and hot cocoa will be served.

“If you have had someone in your life die or would like to know how to support someone, please join us for this event,” said Stephanie Kohler-Pagan, director of bereavement, Lory’s Place. “Knowing the right words to say can help someone who is hurting in their grief feel cared for and supported.”
