(BRIDGMAN) – Spectrum Health Lakeland is pleased to welcome Sherry Simpson, NP, to the medical staff. Simpson is caring for adult and geriatric patients at Southwestern Medical Clinic in Bridgman, located at 9625 Red Arrow Highway.

Simpson earned a master’s degree in nursing from Andrews University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in nursing from Valparaiso University. She has over two decades of clinical and educational experience and specializes in internal medicine, geriatrics, and hospice and palliative care. Prior to joining the practice, Simpson served as a nurse practitioner for PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) of Southwest Michigan.

“Through my work with Lakeland Homecare and PACE over the last nearly 15 years, I have been able to provide compassionate and comprehensive medical care for older adults who may be experiencing complex diagnoses or chronic illness,” said Simpson. “I look forward to continuing this important work in the primary care setting and am pleased to be joining a diverse group of caregivers at Southwestern Medical Clinic.”

Providers at Southwestern Medical Clinic in Bridgman provide family medicine, internal medicine and geriatric care for children and adult patients with a wide variety of conditions.
