Collection Instructions

• Collect using pre-chilled EDTA tube
• Routine venipuncture
Immediately after collection, gently invert tube 5-10 times
• Place collection tube in container of ice slush (ice and water mixture)
Promptly centrifuge 15 minutes
• Transfer plasma to a plastic tube and freeze within 4 hours of collection

• Frozen: 4 weeks
