Collection Instructions

• Draw blood between 7:30am and 9:00am the morning following the evening dose
• Routine venipuncture
Immediately after collection, gently invert tube 5-10 times
• Clot 30 minutes
• Promptly centrifuge 15 minutes
• Immediately transfer serum to a plastic tube and freeze within 1 hour of collection

This test will screen for, and quantitate if present, the synthetic glucocorticoid, dexamethasone.
