Collection Instructions

• Routine venipuncture
• Immediately after collection, gently invert tube 8-10 times
• Do not centrifuge, do not remove plasma from cells
• Refrigerate entire Lavender top tube of whole blood
• For optimal results, specimen should be received within 48 hours of collection
