Collection Instructions

• Routine venipuncture
• Do not centrifuge
• Do not remove plasma from cells

Transportation Instructions

• Maintain both tubes at room temperature
• Do not refrigerate
Specimen should be received by testing site optimally within 12 hours of collection

EDTA Specimen: 30 hours room temperature (20-30°C)
ACD Specimen: 48 hours room temperature (20-30°C)

• Not collected in appropriate container
