Collection Instructions

• Collect specimen in morning before patient arises, bathes or uses bathroom
• Preparation should be taken at least four to six consecutive days with negative results before patient is considered free of infection
• Remove cap from kit vial to expose collection paddle
• Press sticky side of paddle against perianal area using moderate pressure
• Do not insert into rectum
• Do not contaminate with feces
• Return paddle to vial
• Tighten cap
