Collection Instructions

• Depress tongue and rub swab vigorously over each tonsillar area and posterior pharynx - Any exudate should be touched
• Avoid contact with the lips, tongue and uvula
• Insert swab into transport tube and ensure contact with transport media

NOTE: Follow manufacturer’s directions for release of media within transport tube
