Lakeland Pharmacy moves to hospital, expands access and is now open when all other pharmacies in Berrien County are closed

(ST. JOSEPH) - The Lakeland Pharmacy Shoppe has moved and is now open within the Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, formerly Spectrum Health Lakeland Medical Center, located at 1234 Napier Avenue. Prescriptions can be filled or refilled by calling 269.556.2888.

Previously operating from the Center for Outpatient Services, this move enhances access to prescriptions for individuals who may need them outside normal retail pharmacy business hours. The Pharmacy Shoppe will now be open until midnight, seven days a week, 365 days a year, which includes all holidays. 

Daily hours are:

• Monday through Friday— 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. (midnight)

• Saturday and Sunday— 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. (midnight)

For quick stops, several parking spaces are reserved for pharmacy guests directly outside the hospital’s main entrance circle drive.

“Anyone can utilize Lakeland Pharmacy Shoppe for prescription or over-the-counter needs,” said Elizabeth Davenport, pharmacy manager, Corewell Health South. “This is a full, open-door retail pharmacy equipped to serve everyone. We stay open during the lunch hour and are excited to be the pharmacy open latest in the county.”

Enhancing the pharmacy’s availability will fill a critical need for people discharged late from a hospital, receiving treatment at an emergency department, or under hospice care for pain and symptom management.
