Be a Part of Something Special
Grief is individual. Each person has their own story and journey leading to a new normal. The grief and mourning can be intense and there can be a lot of new things a grieving adult has to learn when losing someone they love:
- Learning how to manage household accounts
- Home maintenance
- Cooking meals
- Washing clothing
- Paying bills
The Lory’s Place expansion project will create a place for grieving adults to engage life with a new perspective; learn new skills; meet new friends; and most of all have a safe harbor to create a new normal.
With the support of our community we will expand into the adjacent space to create a dedicated venue for adult programming. Our hope is to take this initial concept and broaden it further to also encompass opportunities for learning and growing like doing laundry, balancing a checkbook, beginning yoga, and learning to cook.
When you support our work, together we touch a grieving neighbor, family member, coworker, or friend.
