Camp Lifetimes 2021: Grief Ninja Warrior
Camp Lifetimes is focused on peer support, fun, and grief work for bereaved children in southwest Michigan and northern Indiana. Any child who has experienced the death of a significant person in their life is invited to attend camp, even if they have not used our services before. It is our sincere hope that each child will leave camp with new friends who understand and know their story, along with the encouragement to continue to work through their grief.
The theme for this year’s Camp Lifetimes is “Grief Ninja Warrior.” The goal for campers is to identify some of their coping skills and self-care practices to mourn in a healthy way. Campers will tap into their inner ninja warrior on a fun obstacle course at Power in Motion, as well as other fun activities held in and around Lory’s Place. After working up an appetite during a busy day of fun and learning with friends, lunch and snacks will be provided during the day. Camp will start and end at Lory’s Place. Come ready to tackle the obstacles while growing, learning and having fun!
Thanks to the generous support of individuals and our community, registration to Camp Lifetimes continues to be offered to all participants without cost. If you know someone who might benefit from our camp experience, please encourage them to attend.
