Pediatric Rehabilitation

Pediatric Rehabilitation

The Lakeland Children’s Rehabilitation Program was designed just for kids. Our team of experts understands that each child is different and so are their care requirements. We have years of experience designing individual therapy programs that recognize each child’s potential and identify their strengths.

Our Team of Experts

Our team of professionals includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and case managers who will work closely with you and your child to set and achieve goals. We specialize in treating children diagnosed with:

  • Autism spectrum disorders
  • Brachial plexus injuries
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Developmental apraxia/dysarthria
  • Developmental delay
  • Feeding or swallowing disorders
  • Genetic syndromes including Rett and Down syndromes
  • Sensory integration dysfunction
  • Speech and language delay/disorders
  • Stuttering
  • Torticollis

We provide these services in a supportive environment for children and their families.

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapists focus on improving your child’s mobility using a variety of hands-on techniques and activities. These services develop gross motor skills and maximize each child’s full potential.

Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists focus on improving your child’s life skills. They specialize in helping your child gain independence and self-confidence through therapeutic play techniques that maximize function in the home, school, and in the community.

Speech-Language Therapy

Our speech-language pathologists focus on enhancing your child’s abilities to understand and communicate within daily activities. They can also provide treatments for feeding and swallowing difficulties.

Our Facilities

Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facilities feature kid-friendly rooms that include therapeutic swings, large air mats, obstacle courses, and toys that stimulate and delight the senses. Our facilities also feature a warm water therapy pool.

Our Commitment

At Lakeland Children’s Rehabilitation, we are committed to the care of your child. We strive to provide a supportive environment where children and their families can expect the best in rehabilitative care.
