A new MyChart functionality will go live Tuesday, June 15. The functionality will allow open scheduling for lab and financial counseling. This means any patient with a MyChart account will be able to schedule an appointment for lab or financial counseling.
For labs, the patient will still need to present to registration to ensure all the appropriate orders for testing are linked to the appointment. A message appears as part of the scheduling instructions so that patients are aware of this extra step.
