(ST. JOSEPH) – Corewell Health South, formerly Spectrum Health Lakeland, is providing free financial counseling support to community members during health insurance open enrollment, which runs from November 1, 2022, through January 15, 2023. Corewell Health South financial counselors are offering virtual, in-person, and phone appointments for those looking to enroll in the marketplace and select a customized health insurance plan to fit their needs. 

Corewell Health South financial counselors will review each situation and provide easy steps to guide you through enrollment. Financial counseling sessions are held in multiple languages Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Today more than ever, it is crucial to have a strong health insurance plan that ensures you and your family are getting affordable quality coverage,” said Elisa Rodriguez, manager, financial counseling, Corewell Health South. “The federal marketplace offers many health plans that can accommodate different health needs and budgets. We can answer questions and help you compare options so you are getting the best health plan to meet your needs.”

For a full financial screening, participants will need to have their paycheck stubs, ID, tax return, and latest bank statement easily available.
