New Primary Care Doctor Joins Corewell Health South

(ST. JOSEPH) – Corewell Health South, formerly Spectrum Health Lakeland, is pleased to welcome board-certified family medicine provider, Eli Sager, DO, to the medical staff. Dr. Sager is seeing patients of all ages at Southwestern Medical Clinic, Stevensville, located at 5515 Cleveland Avenue. 

Dr. Sager earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Metro Health University of Michigan Health in Wyoming, Michigan. He received a bachelor’s degree in applied biology from Ferris State University and is a graduate of Lakeshore High School. Prior to joining Corewell Health South, he served as a physician and site medical director at Asante Physician Partners in Grants Pass, Oregon. Dr. Sager is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and American Osteopathic Association.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to offer care to the community I grew up in,” said Dr. Sager. “The importance of routine and preventative medicine is vital to ensuring better health. I look forward to creating many long-lasting relationships with my patients and their families in a primary care setting where they can feel confident and in control of their wellbeing."
