Occupational Health Expands Access to Care for Businesses, Employees

(ST. JOSEPH) – Spectrum Health Lakeland is pleased to welcome occupational medicine physician, Edmond Feeks, MD, MPH, and Charlene Baumgartner, PA, to the medical staff. Dr. Feeks and Baumgartner are seeing patients at Lakeland Occupational Health, located at 2500 Niles Road in St. Joseph, with supporting locations in Niles, Stevensville, and Watervliet.

Dr. Feeks earned a medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard University with an emphasis in occupational medicine. Dr. Feeks has served in a variety of medical leadership roles for the United States Navy and Marine Corps, advising on issues related to aviation and occupational medicine. Prior to coming to Lakeland, Dr. Feeks served as an occupational medicine consultant for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and, most recently, as medical director of occupational health at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Alabama.

Baumgartner earned a physician assistant certification from University of North Dakota School of Medicine. Prior to her current role, Baumgartner served as a physician assistant at Pokagon Health Services in Dowagiac. She is a member of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
