(ST. JOSEPH) – Spectrum Health Lakeland is pleased to welcome Manthan Kimmane, NP, to the medical staff at Spectrum Health Lakeland Heart and Vascular. Kimmane is seeing patients alongside ten cardiology physician specialists and five advanced practitioners in Coloma, Niles, and St. Joseph.

Kimmane earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Chamberlin University, College of Nursing and completed a Master of Science in nursing from Mayville University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioner and is certified in chemotherapy infusion. Kimmane has been a team member at Lakeland since 2011, serving as a registered nurse in the emergency department, infusion center, vascular access team where he performed peripherally inserted central lines and ultrasound guided intravenous catheter insertion, and most recently working as a start of care nurse with Caring Circle.

“It’s been a pleasure to care for so many members of the community for more than ten years during my roles as registered nurse at Lakeland,” said Kimmane. “I look forward to caring for individuals in a new manor as a cardiac nurse practitioner, where I’ll focus on managing and treating disease of the heart, blood vessels, and circulatory system.”

Spectrum Health Lakeland offers patients access to more than 60 experienced cardiac clinicians who care for a variety of conditions impacting the heart and vascular system. Physicians have earned national recognition for their pioneering work in peripheral vascular intervention and nuclear medicine. Lakeland has also been recognized as a certified chest pain and a Service Line of Excellence for the percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), chest pain center, and open-heart surgery programs by Corazon, Inc., a national leader in services for the cardiovascular specialty.
