Adult Mental Health First Aid Add to Calendar

In the Mental Health First Aid course, participants identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. MHFA teaches a five-step action plan to assess a situation, select and implement appropriate interventions and secure appropriate care for an individual experiencing a mental health problem in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Resources are reviewed to help them connect to appropriate care.

Please note that this workshop is free for those who live or work in our service area (Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren County). There will be a nominal fee for those who are outside of our service area.
