Community members have identified five priority health needs that have a significant impact on two health outcomes identified as priorities for Spectrum Health: maternal and infant health and cardiovascular disease. The priority health needs are mental health, social cohesion, health care access, nutrition environment, and safety.
By continuing to address and prevent negative health patterns, Spectrum Health Lakeland is helping to make Berrien County, and the surrounding areas, a better place to live. We are committed to caring and continuing our work to improve health, inspire hope, and save lives. The 2022-2024 Community Health Needs Assessment delves deeply into the health challenges and opportunities our community faces.
