October 1 marks two years since the integration between Spectrum Health and Lakeland became official. Since the journey began, teams have accomplished an extraordinary amount of integration work, and there’s still more to do as we blend our organizations into one family of 30,000 health care professionals throughout the state of Michigan.

The second year of integration has brought important advantages to our team members and community, including the following:

• Benefits harmonization
• Glint survey integration
• Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion collaborative events
• Risk management
• Office 365 migration and more

It’s taken courage to get where we are this year, as well as compassion, curiosity, and a lot of collaboration. So let’s celebrate—another year of integration and what’s been accomplished for health care in west Michigan.
