The Greater Niles Chamber of Commerce recently presented the Spectrum Health Lakeland Niles Hospital with the 2021 Community Leadership Award to honor their work during the coronavirus pandemic. The award commemorates an individual, business, or organization that has gone above and beyond the call of duty in their service to the greater Niles community.

Each Niles team member has played a significant part in receiving this recognition, from treating patients in the emergency department, providing testing in the lab, and screening patients and visitors, to keeping the hospital clean and in good repair and caring for COVID-19 patients.
