Help neighbors in need throughout Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties by donating to United Way of Southwest Michigan's annual summer food drive.
United Way of Southwest Michigan’s (UWSM) annual summer food drive is taking place throughout the month of June—with a twist!
For the last four years, UWSM’s Christmas in June has supplied thousands of items and cash donations to local food pantries, thanks to the support of many community partners, including Spectrum Health Lakeland. Because of this generosity, families throughout Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties have had access to nutritious food and hygiene items they need.
This local event has had such a strong impact that Kellogg’s took notice and helped UWSM bring together 23 other United Ways throughout Michigan to make this a statewide event for the first time! The event, now called Summer Stock Up, will run for the entire month of June.
