Senior PGA Championship seeks medical volunteers

Learn about the requirements and benefits of becoming an SPGA medical volunteer.

Spectrum Health Lakeland is seeking volunteers to provide medical support for the upcoming Senior PGA Championship, May 24 through 29.

Requirements:

  • Work a 10 to 12-hour shift (can be broken up into different days)
  • Attend golf etiquette class if first time volunteer

Benefits:

  • Nike golf shirt
  • Parking pass and food vouchers
  • Credential badge with 5-day access
  • Volunteer Appreciation Party at Harbor Shores on Sunday, May 22. More details to come

If you are a physician, resident, physical therapist, RN, or ED/nurse tech with BLS certification and the ability to perform basic first aid with a willingness to volunteer, please email Brittany Lee (brittany.lee@spectrumhealth.org) or Dr. Trigger (christopher.trigger@spectrumhealth.org) with your name, job title, cell phone, date(s) you are available, and shirt size by Friday, April 15. Due to supply issues, please respond before Monday, Mar. 28, to guarantee your preferred shirt size.
