Financial Assistance Applications Now Available Through myChart

Applying for financial assistance just got easier. Thanks to a new update through Epic, patients are now able to apply through myChart.
“One of the benefits to applying in MyChart is that patients can directly upload their application and verification documents, making the process faster and completely remote,” said Jenna Howard, Manager, Admitting & Registration.
The new features in myChart include an option to apply for financial assistance on the “Pay a Bill” screen and a reminder about this service on the billing summary page. Through the application process, patients are connected to a financial advocate who can assist in explaining the financial aspects of care.
