Food Pantry Launching for Lakeland Team Members
Jun 2, 2021

Please note: the start date of the food pantry has been delayed. A new start date is forthcoming.

A new team member food pantry is launching at Spectrum Health Lakeland Niles Hospital. The pantry is a team member only resource and is not meant for patients or visitors. Any team member can access the pantry and take what they need. There will be no posted limits or anyone monitoring how many items individuals take. Instead, team members will take home items as needed while adhering to an honor system of sharing the available resources with others. Items will be replaced according to the demand and usage by our team members and in partnership with the Spectrum Health Lakeland Foundation.

Where is it located?

The Niles Food Pantry is located in the basement of the Niles hospital across from the small dining room.

How can team members donate?

Team members can contribute in a few different ways:

  • Team members can complete and submit a pledge form and identify the Niles Food Pantry as the “to.” This option will allow individuals to contribute via payroll deduct. Contact the Foundation for more information.
  • A contribution can be made on the Foundation website at https://give.spectrumhealth.org/lakeland/donate.
  • Information about how to donate food items will be shared at a later date.
