(BERRIEN SPRINGS) – Spectrum Health Lakeland is pleased to welcome Linda Song, NP, to the medical staff. Song is seeing patients alongside four physicians and one advanced practitioner at University Medical Specialties, located at 9045 US Highway 31 in Berrien Springs.
Song earned a master’s degree with a family nurse practitioner certification from Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois. Over the last decade she has worked as a house supervisor and emergency medicine nurse at Spectrum Health Lakeland. Song has a passion for medical missions and has served in Brazil and volunteered with Remote Area Medical—a non-profit provider of mobile medical clinics.
"Having been a team member at Lakeland for the past 11 years, I value the organization’s commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care,” said Song. “I look forward to using the lessons I’ve learned in the inpatient setting as I care for patients of all ages within the primary care office.”
The team at University Medical Specialties cares for the general medical needs of children and adult patients and provides student health and occupational medicine services to Andrews University. The practice is also home to a counseling program with three licensed psychologists and a psychiatric mental health clinical nurse specialist on staff.
