(ST. JOSEPH) – On Saturday, November 12, community members are invited to attend a celebration and fundraiser to support nurses. The At the Heart of Healing Gala will be held at Spectrum Health Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

This fundraising event is a way to give back, as we raise essential funds to offer higher education opportunities for Spectrum Health Lakeland nurses. With the help from generous donations, Lakeland will increase access and minimize the cost to achieve advanced degrees. This allows more nurses to gain specialized knowledge in their field, which benefits our entire community now and into the future. Investing in our nurses is mission critical in retaining high quality health care providers locally and ensuring the growth of nursing careers. To take part in this local initiative purchase a ticket for $200 per person or becoming a gala sponsor.

Join your friends and neighbors in a delightful evening of fine dining, live entertainment from LaRon Hearst and The Soul Syndicate, an auction, and more while learning about our mission of improving health, instilling humanity, and inspiring hope in our communities. Guests will be treated to a VIP first look at the grand opening of Main Street, the newly constructed entrance and connector to the Spectrum Health Lakeland Medical Pavilion.
