Recruitment Process/What to Expect
The recruitment process begins with an online application that is submitted when you find the position you would like to be considered for.
- Our recruiters review applications and schedule phone interviews daily. Phone interviews allow the recruiters to better assess whether or not an individual meets the TRAITS Lakeland strives for. We are looking for engaged, high energy, positive individuals with a strong work ethic.
- After the initial phone interview, the recruiter will forward their notes to the manager and if the manager is interested, he/she will schedule an onsite interview.
- The final interview is an onsite peer interview which will also be scheduled by the hiring manager. This typically occurs the same day as the manager interview, though at times, is scheduled a different time.
You should be prepared to answer both general questions about your background as well as specific questions about situations you have encountered in your previous employment. You will be expected to provide as much detail as possible in your responses (i.e. what you worked on, who you worked with, problems you encountered, how you solved the problems, feedback you received and what you learned from the situation). Lakeland is a high performing culture that is looking for high performing individuals to add to our team.
