Services and Satellite Locations

It is our mission to enhance health and serve our community in an environment that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. Our staff serves as a critical link between you and your physician. Please let us know if we can answer any questions or concerns related to your treatment or illness.

The Spectrum Health Lakeland's Ambulatory Infusion Centers provide a broad range of outpatient services, including:

  • Antibiotic administration
  • Blood administration
  • Chemotherapy
  • Platelet transfusions
  • Therapeutic phlebotomies

For patients in need of intravenous therapy that can not come into an infusion center, Lakeland Home Infusion provides high-quality, individualized care in the home setting. Therapies are administered under the supervision of specialized nurses and pharmacists dedicated exclusively to the Home Infusion Team.

Lakeland Homecare and Lakeland Home Infusion are accredited by the Joint Commission, the nation's most respected and stringent reviewer of health services.

Virtual Reality

Virtual reality (VR) technology is offered at the infusion centers while patients receive chemotherapy and other infusion services. Through an interactive computer-generated simulation, patients are immersed in a variety of experiences such as exploring the history of the Titanic or the Anne Frank House, meditating on the beach, or watching television in the comfort of a luxurious mansion. VR is another part of our mission to nurture body, mind, and spirit, while calming anxiety and stress during treatment.
