Lakeland is a Tobacco-Free Work Environment

As the region’s leading healthcare provider, Lakeland Health recognizes our responsibility to positively transform healthcare and the health choices of those we serve and employ within our community. We believe it is important to model healthy behaviors and are asking our employees to model the same behaviors we promote to our patients.

As part of our commitment to promote health and healthy choices to the community, Lakeland Health does not hire individuals who use tobacco products. Anyone who is offered and accepts a position and fails to divulge complete and honest information, may be disqualified from employment based on the results received from a post-offer nicotine test. If the test results come back positive, you may be eligible to re-apply after six months.
