(ST. JOSEPH) - Community members are invited to attend and support the annual Hospice Benefit, Wine and Beer Tasting for Caring Circle, a part of Corewell Health, on Saturday, August 19, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. This is the first year the fundraiser will take place at the Michigan Maritime Museum, 260 Dyckman Avenue in South Haven. Guests will enjoy a night of local wine, beer, delicious food, and live music. Tickets are available for purchase until August 11.

Proceeds from the event stay local and make it possible for Caring Circle to provide hospice care for patients in need of financial support. “When someone has a serious, life-limiting illness, Caring Circle strives to make every moment easier by enhancing quality of life one day, one decision at a time,” said Dan Wassenhove, Senior Director, Hospice and Palliative Care, Corewell Health. “Financial stress over how to pay for that care shouldn’t be a barrier for our friends and neighbors needing these essential services.”

Regular tickets are $100. VIP tickets are $150 and include an exclusive champagne toast, commemorative tasting glass, special gift, and access to a private space overlooking the entire event. Tickets can be purchased online at caring-circle.org/hospicebenefit, at any Caring Circle office location or the South Haven Visitors Bureau. Last year’s event sold out; interested parties should purchase tickets early.
