Dr. Miller served 12 years in the United States military and most recently practiced bariatric and general surgery as Chief of General Surgery at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Miller received his doctorate of medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his residency in general surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Miller is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). He has been involved in numerous research projects and published in several publications.
