Understanding midwifery care
Certified Nurse-Midwifes (CNM) at Spectrum Health Lakeland offer personalized care that puts the woman in charge. Our CNM’s are educated with undergraduate and advanced degrees in nursing and midwifery, as well as extensive training in Women’s Health and Obstetrics.
Midwives do more than just prenatal care.
From young women's care to menopause management and many topics in between, our CNMs are here for you when you want a personalized, hands-on approach to your care. Lakeland CNMs strive to be your trusted partner, with longer appointment times to understand your unique needs and empower you to make informed decisions about your health. Your routine gynecological care, like annual exams with PAP smear, birth control consults, family planning visits, and postmenopausal support and care, can be scheduled with a CNM.
