We offer breastfeeding services at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph. Services are offered by appointment only.

Our services include:

  • Bra fittings
  • Breastfeeding support group
  • Inpatient lactation consultation during hospital stay
  • Outpatient private lactation consultation after delivery
  • Prenatal lactation consultation before delivery
  • Weight checks

Breastfeeding Consultant Services

If things don’t go as planned when you begin breastfeeding your newborn, our international certified breastfeeding experts can offer help during this special time with your baby. Breastfeeding Support Group

This group is for all breastfeeding mothers (and their babies) as well as expectant mothers. Led by Certified Lactation Consultant Denise Lenardson, RN, IBCLC, the group provides a forum for breastfeeding women to gain confidence, support, and guidance. A scale for weighing babies will also be available during the meetings. For more information, call 269.927.5355
