What You Need To Know: Preparing for Childbirth Series 

planned-parentingChildbirth education classes are designed to provide information to our expecting mothers and their support partners about what to expect during labor and when caring for their newborn. A series of three classes will cover information about induction, labor, delivery, Cesarean birth, newborn and post-partum care. The classes will feature a presentation from a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, a Pelvic Floor Therapist, a Q&A with a pediatrician, a visit from a family who recently delivered with Corewell Health, and a tour of the Birthplace. This class is recommended to be taken in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Time: 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Corewell Health Lakeland Hospitals St. Joseph Hospital (Formally Spectrum Health Lakeland St. Joseph) Frederick S. Upton Education Center Pavilion Auditorium
Cost: Free (Participants are asked to bring snacks and water for themselves)
