Caring Circle Honored with 2020 Circle of Life Award
May 27, 2020
Caring Circle has been honored as a 2020 Circle of Life Award winner. The Circle of Life Awards: Celebrating Innovation in Palliative and End-of-Life Care are presented annually to recognize programs across the nation that model effective palliative and end-of-life care in a variety of settings.
The award committee noted the success of Caring Circle efforts such as the Transitions program, Lory’s Place and bereavement program’s community outreach, community partnerships, HouseCalls primary care program, and collaboration with the PACE program. The committee also praised Caring Circle team members for their patient-centeredness, innovation, curiosity, and passion.
“I am so proud of our Caring Circle team. It is their relentless dedication, compassion, and creativity that has allowed us to receive this level of national recognition,” said Melinda Gruber, Vice President, Continued Care Services, and President, Caring Circle.
Please note that while this honor cannot yet be shared publicly, we wanted to share the good news with our Lakeland team members first.
