Loyalty Appreciation Program Aligns with Spectrum Health

Under a new program, honorees who are celebrating 5 to 45 years of service (in five year increments) will receive an email and link to gift options on their anniversary and a lapel pin. Personal cards will be sent monthly from Spectrum Health President and CEO, Tina Freese Decker. In addition, 25 year and up honorees will be invited to attend a luncheon hosted around the state.

Team members who have retired from SHL (and are 55 or older with at least 10 years of service) are eligible for a retirement award card. The award varies based upon years of service ($100-$350), is automatically mailed to the team member’s home address, and can be redeemed at over 100 national retailers.

Please note: We will still host our Service Awards Banquet on February 25, 2020 for 2019 25 year and up honorees.

The Veggie Van™, a mobile farmers market, served 13 counties throughout Michigan this year, ensuring that free fruits and vegetables were available to individuals who otherwise had limited access. The program, a joint effort of Corewell Health™ and the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids, launched in 2018 to combat food insecurity and will continue for a sixth consecutive year in spring 2024. Through their partnership, 46,466 free pieces of produce were distributed to Michigan families in 2023.
