The latest Spectrum Health Lakeland achievements have been released by the Quality, Safety, and Experience team.

Recent reports include the following:

  • Zero findings when The Joint Commission recertified Lakeland’s stroke program this month.
  • Zero Lakeland stroke patients died within 30 days of leaving the hospital, from July to November 2020.
  • 200 days since the last CLABSI at Lakeland, after the nursing team implemented a new standard work procedure.
  • A perfect 100 points earned for the 2020 Michigan Hospital Medicine Safety Consortium, one of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan’s Pay for Performance Collaborative Quality Initiatives. In 2019, Lakeland earned 90 points.
