Decrease in Ability to Function in Normal Environment
You may be a good candidate for admission into our inpatient rehabilitation program if you have had a decrease in your ability to function in your normal environment and you have experienced the following:
- Active, polyarticular rheumatoid arthritis
- Amputations
- Brain and spinal cord injuries
- Burns
- Congenital deformities
- Hip fractures
- Major multiple traumas
- Neurological disorders
- Orthopedic conditions
- Osteoarthritis
- Stroke
- Systemic vasculidities with joint inflammation
- Other debilitating conditions
Inpatient therapy services cannot accept patients who:
- Are under the age of 18
- Need ventilator assistance
- Have spinal cord injuries level C1 to C5
- Have brain injuries below a Ranchos scale of six (The Ranchos scale is a medical scale used to assess individuals after a closed head injury, including traumatic brain injury, based on cognitive and behavioral presentations as they emerge from coma.)
