Admission Day

Evaluating Your Care

Admission DayYour admission day may vary depending on your individual needs and time of day. Our medical director will do a physical assessment and write your initial orders. You may be seen by our therapists who will evaluate your needs. If you have difficulty swallowing, a speech therapist may evaluate your abilities and make recommendations about your diet. Your nurse will also evaluate you and advanced directives will be discussed with you by our social worker. An advanced directive is a document which allows you to give directions about your future medical care.
