The population health team wants to hear from you! We collaborate with community partners, organizations, and individuals across the region to continuously advance health equity in our community.
Terri has worked in various population health roles for more than 25 years. She earned a Master of population health in Health Care Administration from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. She also serves as a certified health education specialist and an instructor for the Youth Mental Health First Aid program.
As a public health professional, I’ve seen firsthand how our health is a result of the influences in the places
we live, work, play, and pray. It is my life’s work to be part of ensuring people have equitable access to the
life conditions that lead to good health.
Margaret holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University and is a CPR instructor and
certified adult mental health instructor. She has worked in population health for more than 20 years. She loves
helping people help themselves.
Denard is a Black African American of Haitian descent from Fort Pierce, FL. He is pursuing a dual degree in a
Masters of Social Work and Masters of Divinity at Andrews University.
Mary was born and raised in India and now calls Trinidad and Tobago her home. She moved to Michigan in September 2017 to purse her Master of Social Work. Mary is an evaluator for the health equity department and has been part of the team since 2019.
As a native of Benton Harbor and former political organizer, Siobhan believes in action over ideals, the prioritization of transparency, and accountability in systems and leadership. She is an evaluator in qualitative research and analysis, focused on tracking the evolution of the health equity strategy at Spectrum Health Lakeland and the progress of the Center for Better Health.
Kyndall holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Social Work degree from
Western Michigan University. In her down time, she enjoys spending time with her dog Roscoe.
Ashlee is a graduate of Western Michigan University’s College of Education and was previously a K12 teacher of
health sciences and physical education before joining the population health team.
Mike is an RN and certified diabetes educator. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bethel University
in Mishawaka, IN.
Corey received his PhD in Evaluation from Western Michigan University in 2018. He leads the evaluation of the health equity strategy at Spectrum Health Lakeland and helps to ensure that useful information is generated to facilitate continuous improvement and progress monitoring. The Equitable Evaluation Framework ™ is foundational to the evaluation work at SHL.
Lynn holds a Master's degree in City Planning and a PhD in Urban & Regional Planning from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology.
