You participation in this event, and your donations to Lory’s Place, help provide vital support to our hurting communities throughout Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. Your financial support through fundraisers, like Run Walk Rock, ensures safe spaces are available for those who have experienced the death of someone.

About this Race

The 19th annual Run, Walk and Rock 5k benefits Lory's Place, a Grief Healing and Education Center of Caring Circle. All programs and services at Lory’s Place are available at no charge. That means that no child or adult turned away because of an inability to pay.

The children, adults, and families who are part of Lory’s Place join us in expressing our deepest gratitude to you for supporting our mission of grief healing.

Tri-Blend Short Sleeve T-shirt

To be guaranteed a t-shirt, participants must register before April 20.

Note: You are also not guaranteed a shirt if you do not pick up your t-shirt at packet pick up or on race day.

Parking

Parking is in the Whirlpool lot at the corner of Upton and Momany.

Rocking Chair Raffle

If you want to win a signature white Rocking Chair, place the tag at the bottom of your bib in one of the boxes on the registration tables. All ages are eligible to win a rocking chair.

February 1 to March 31 (11:59 p.m.)            $25

May 19 and May 20 (8:15 a.m.)  $40

Medals

Custom Lory's Place Run Walk Rock medals are awarded to the first three finishers in the following age groups for male and female runners and walkers:

10 and under
11 to 14
15 to 19
20 to 29
30 to 39
40 to 49
50 to 59
60 to 69
70 to 79
80+

Friday Early Packet Pick-Up Information

Participants who pre-registered can pick up their race packet at Lory’s Place, 445 Upton Drive, St. Joseph, MI, on Friday, May 19, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Champions for Children Challenge

Students, teachers, staff, and administrators are invited to represent their school in either the 5K walk or run! The school that has the most participants will receive the “Champions for Children” traveling trophy and $500 from Boss Services. You must indicate the school and/or grade you’re representing on the registration form to count towards this participation award.
