Southwestern Medical Clinic, St. Joseph - formerly Stevensville Family Practice - brings with it many long-time, friendly staff members, who are ready to serve your health care needs!
We offer a wide-spectrum of services; from wellness checks, to chronic disease management, immunizations, and much more. Our practice also offers on-site laboratory services and extended hours for those of you who just can't make it in from 9 to 5.
Meet the Team
Daniel Benson, DO, is trained in family medicine. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a three-year family medicine residency locally at Lakeland Health. During that time Dr. Benson served on a medical mission trip to Sierra Leone. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Osteopathic Association and the Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine Alumni Association.
Elizabeth Egle, MD, is trained in family medicine. She earned her medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Egle has worked at both St. Mary’s hospital in Livonia, and at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. Additionally, her medical work has taken her around the globe where she has served on missions helping patients in Bahrain, Bangladesh, El Salvador, Haiti, Malawi, and Nicaragua.
Erin Hayden, NP, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bethel College in Indiana. She recently completed her Master's in Nursing degree from Frontier Nursing University in Lexington, Kentucky. She has served patients locally within the Lakeland Health system since 2002. Erin has nine years of medical, surgical, and oncology nursing experience. She is ONS chemotherapy and biotherapy certified.
