PARCOURSE Pod 7

Trapeze Rack:

  1. Stand under rings and raise arms above head. With palms facing forward, leap up and grasp the rings with both hands.
  2. Keeping abdominals tight, use core to swing legs to gain controlled swinging motion.
  3. While swinging, release one hand and grasp second ring. Then, use swinging momentum to release other hand from first ring and grasp third ring.
  4. Repeat swinging from ring to ring until you reach the final ring. Reduce swinging momentum and release rings to return feet to the ground.

Adult Climbing Wall Station:

  1. Stand facing climbing wall and grasp appropriate height handholds with left and right hands.
  2. Supporting weight with arms, bring feet to appropriate height holds.
  3. Use legs to support weight, stand and reach for appropriate handholds with one hand. Follow with other hand and move feet to appropriate holds for foot support.
  4. Continue to climb until you have reached the top of the wall. Retrace route climbing down until you return to the starting position. You can also climb over the top of the wall and continue down the other side, or traverse to adjacent wall(s) to complete climbing circuit.
