Women in Medicine

Our program recognizes that women in emergency medicine face unique challenges. It is our goal to support our female residents and provide additional support and allyship during their residency and beyond. Our program has two yearly events with protected time for our female residents to gather to discuss these challenges in a fun setting. Recent events include wine tasting at a local female owned winery, a Thai cooking class at the Culinary Cottage in our local market, and a mocktail class provided by a local small business, Precision Syrups. In addition to our structured events, we have a female book club that meets every other month.  Keep an eye out on Instagram for our latest activities.
