This is us

The Marketing & Communications team works with Lakeland leaders to implement the annual Lakeland Marketing & Communications plan, which advances the Lakeland Strategic Plan and achievement of annual Key Value Indicators, while satisfying patient and associate information needs and helping Lakeland navigate times of accelerated external and internal change.

You can usually find me in or on the water at any time of year, and I tend to recharge the best in the woods. My career developed by accident while working as a switchboard operator 14 years ago when the director of marketing caught me doodling, and the rest - they say- is history.

From health care to the professional sports industry, my experience spans more than five years in marketing, community relations, and event planning. Outside of the office, you’ll often find me playing with my rescue cat, Mila, practicing yoga or exploring all Michigan has to offer.

After growing up in East Lansing and graduating from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Film & Video Production, I moved to St. Joseph to start my job with Lakeland in 2010. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside, working on projects around the house, and being endlessly amused by my dog and two cats.

When I'm not hanging out with my work pals, you can catch me outdoors with my dog, indoors with a good movie, or scoping out food trucks or festivals around west Michigan.

Among other things, I’m a wife and writer (with a novel in the works), and I’ve worked with words professionally since 2013.
